Bobby has been part of the music seen for 20 years. His love of music has put in on the stage with many band styles throughout the years. He has played with bands such as Treason, Tequila, Lying Eyes, and has played a wide variety of music. He decided to pursue his solo career back in 1996 recording a 2-song cassette MY LITTLE GIRL. After that bobby went to a different recording style while doing a tribute CD for his grandfather the late Charlie MacKinnon. The CD was made up of his favorite tunes his grandfather has recorded and written. This Cd has a Celtic back ground with a bit of twist and energy. After the recording of the CD he formed a 2pcs act with local musician Mike Wadden and from there the 2 impressed the stage with their unique style in witch they arranged the songs they did. When promoting the CD he has had the chance to share the stage with great musician such as Terry Kelly, Howie Mac Donald, Dave MacIsaac ,JP Cormier, The Fables, Steve Page and Jimmy Rankin, just to name just a few. He has played many out door concerts throughout the province like Flying on your own with Rita Mac Neil, and in 2005 he and his grandmother Marion Mac Kinnion excepted the Stomping Tom award at the ECMAS in Sydney. In 2008 Bobby realeased his latest CD EVOLVING this CD has a little country sound rock and Celtic all in one CD there is songs writing by bobby as well as co written with Dan McCarthy(RAISE YOUR GLASS) AND Arron Lewis (pirates cove). After the completing the evolving cd he put together his full time band including steward Mac Donald , Paul Lyle and Ronnie Hogan.
